The Tampa Bay Sports Commission and TV personality Ryan Bass went behind the scenes at June's 50th-anniversary celebration of Title IX at Amalie Arena. Ryan spoke with Tampa Bay Title IX Trailblazers and other special guests to get their opinions of the impact of the legislation. The night featured a sneak peek of ESPN Films’ “37 Words,” a 4-part documentary series, chronicling the hard-fought battle for equal rights in education and athletics from award-winning directors Dawn Porter and Nicole Newnham, as well as a keynote from City of Tampa Mayor, Jane Castor and a dynamic discussion with Kimberly Davis, Senior Executive Vice President at National Hockey League, Sue Moucha, a Four-time Team USA Paralympia, and Shaniya Benjamin a Track and Field Student-Athlete at the University of South Florida. ESPN personality and softball Hall of Famer, Michele Smith moderated the evening.
The University of Tampa hosted and hoisted in 2021 as they won the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball National Championship in front of their home fans at the Bob Martinez Athletics Center.

The Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC), alongside members of the 3A State Champion Tampa Catholic High School Boys Soccer team, donated over 200 new and gently used sporting goods to the afterschool program at the Tampa Police Athletic League (PAL) as part of Replay Tampa Bay's first distribution event of 2021.
The Tampa Bay Sports Commission, in conjunction with Hillsborough County and the National Football Foundation, teamed to host the annual football combine. Over 110 athletes participated in the May event at Tournament SportsPlex of Tampa Bay. The athletes ran through drills in front of nine attending colleges.
On Wednesday, October 14, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced that Tampa Bay has been selected as the host site of four major NCAA Championships, which includes the 2023 Division I Men’s Frozen Four, 2023 Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship, 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Final Four and 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball First and Second Rounds. The fifth annual Tampa Summer Jam Lacrosse Tournament, hosted by Northwest Tampa Lacrosse, descended upon the 15-field Hillsborough County Tournament Sportsplex for a July weekend of youth lacrosse action.

It was the largest distribution event in Replay Tampa Bay history.

The Combine, run by collegiate and high school volleyball coaches, provides participants a unique opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college recruiters.
