Beyond Barriers: Tip-Off in Tampa Bay

As we tipped off the 2024 women’s college basketball season and the road to the 2025 NCAA Women's Final Four, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission hosted TIP-OFF IN TAMPA BAY, the next installment of the BEYOND BARRIERS series, an ongoing legacy program dedicated to elevating and celebrating women in sports and inspiring the next generation of women leaders! In partnership with USF Athletics, WISE Tampa Bay, USF Women in Leadership & Philanthropy, and USF Stampede for Women, TIP-OFF IN TAMPA BAY featured an exclusive networking reception as well as a fireside chat with USF Head Women's Basketball Coach Jose Fernandez, as he embarks on his 25th season at the helm. The event was emceed and moderated by ESPN personality, Tiffany Greene. It featured the TBSC’s Press Pass team and program, a media mentorship initiative designed to inspire and develop tomorrow’s storytellers.
