Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Present Sporting Good Donations From "Replay Tampa Bay" to Tampa Police Athletic League
Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Sports Commission and Elder Ford of Tampa to Present Sporting Goods to Children in Need on Thursday, May 18
May 18, 2017
TAMPA, FL - On Thursday, May 18 at 4 p.m., the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC) and Elder Automotive, will visit and donate new and gently used sporting goods to the Tampa Police Athletic League. Thanks to Reply Tampa Bay, a year-long sporting goods drive targeted to “help keep kids in the game,” each child will receive a new sporting good.
Two local fifth grade students, Max Basurto and Parker Braswell will join us as special guests and serve as Replay Tampa Bay event assistants. Max and Parker hosted their own Replay Tampa Bay collection drive as part of a community service project at Roosevelt Elementary.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers' players Will Gholston, Keith Tandy and Chris Conte are also scheduled to appear, as well as Captain Fear and Bucs’ Cheerleaders.
Replay Tampa Bay encourages members of the community to assist local kids in need by donating new or gently used sporting goods at designated Elder Automotive locations, or by collaborating with the TBSC to host a collection drive benefitting the initiative.
Since its inception in 2011, over 3,000 items have been collected and distributed to need-based youth. For more information, including details on Replay Tampa Bay donation locations, visit ReplayTampaBay.com.
