USF Resident
Alexandra Finnan joined the Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC) in 2023 as a Graduate Student Resident from the University of South Florida's Vinik Sport & Entertainment Management Program.
Throughout her education, Finnan has worked with the University of South Florida Athletic Department in Marketing as an intern from 2021-2022 and was moved to a part-time position for the Fall 2022 sporting season. In her Master’s program, Alexandra has had the opportunity to work with the Savannah Bananas by creating a marketing presentation that emphasized unique ways to create fan engagement opportunities on the 2023 World Tour. In addition to the Savannah Bananas, she and her class were given the chance to do a market research project for Arsenal F.C. Women’s Team. This project went into detail how the Arsenal F.C. brand could infiltrate the U.S. market and grow their Women’s team support. Alexandra is also a member of the Women in Sports and Events (WISE) Tampa Bay Chapter where she helps facilitate the Student Ambassador Program.
Alexandra graduated from the University of South Florida in 2022 with a degree in Marketing and a Concentration in Sport and Entertainment Management. In May of 2024, she will graduate once again from the University of South Florida with a Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Sport Business as well as a Master of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management from the Vinik Sport and Entertainment Masters Program.

The University of South Florida and the Tampa Bay Sports Commission will serve as co-hosts for the event at Amalie Arena, with two national semifinal contests played on April 4, while the national championship game will be played Sunday, April 6.

During Gasparilla Bowl week festivities, the TBSC and the Replay Tampa Bay initiative, teamed with the Bowl, Fanatics and WWE Global Ambassador, Titus O'Neil, to celebrate the Bowl's Community Day at Sligh Middle Magnet School. The #ReplayTampaBay distribution event helped put 200 new footballs back into the hands of our local youth as we continue to Help Keep Kids in the Game!
