Kickoff Series Featuring USA vs. Colombia Set for Thursday, Oct.11 at Raymond James StadiumMore than 27,000 tickets have been sold for the next stop of the U.S. MNT's Kickoff Series when the United States will host 14th-ranked Colombia at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. FS1, UniMas and UDN will broadcast the match beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. [KICKOFF SERIES TICKETS] The match could set an attendance record for a MNT visit to Tampa. A crowd of 31,547 witnessed a Landon Donovan hat trick in a 3-0 win against Ecuador on March 25, 2007 in the same venue. The U.S. is coming off a 1-0 win against archrival Mexico on Sept. 11 in Nashville, with 19-year-old Tyler Adams scoring his first international goal in the shutout victory. Tickets are on sale through ussoccer.com and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Entertainment, Tailgate Food; Highlight Fifth Annual Tampa Bay's Tailgate Taste Fest
Thousands came through Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Saturday, October 6 to celebrate the Fifth Annual Tampa Bay's Tailgate Taste Fest presented by Coca-Cola Florida. The free event featured country music stars Jimmie Allen and Craig Campbell as well as many of the top restaurants in Tampa Bay who brought their best tailgate dishes. Local franchises brought their street teams to highlight the Fan Zone, in addition to the VIT (Very Important Tailgater) tent presented Kiolbassa. Check out photos from the day below. After School All-Stars Tampa Bay Announces Corporate ChallengeAfter School All-Stars Tampa Bay is proud to partner with the City of Tampa to present the first-ever Tampa Bay Corporate Challenge (TBCC) on Saturday, November 10 at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. The event is open to Tampa Bay area companies and will encourage company comradere, networking and of course, competition through a variety of sporting events, including a 5K Run/Walk that is also open to family and friends. Hillsborough County All-Star Baseball Combine Set For October 17
The 9th annual Hillsborough County All-Star Baseball Game takes centerstage again on October 17, 2018 at Jesuit High School. The event aims to highlight many of Hillsborough County's best uncommitted, underclassman baseball players as well as college coaches from around state. The West Team will be coached by Landy Faedo (Alonso) and Bill Leiby (Riverview), while the East side will be captained by Jim Macaluso (King) and Kevin McCray (Robinson) Admission is FREE and first pitch is slated for 6 p.m. More information will be made available at TampaBaySports.org in the near future. |
