Tampa Bay's Tailgate Taste Fest Returns to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park this Saturday
TAMPA, FL – For the fourth consecutive year, the Tampa Bay community is set to come together for the ultimate tailgate celebration at Tampa Bay’s Tailgate Taste Fest, presented by Coca-Cola Beverages Florida on Saturday, September 30. Hosted by the Event Development Institute, festivities are set to get under way at Curtis Hixon Park at 3 p.m. Event admission is free
Tailgate Taste Fest is free to the public and will showcase food samplings from 16 of the area’s top restaurants, including:

Five, 10 and VIP food sample wristbands are available for purchase at TailgateTasteFest.com or on event day (cash only). Beer courtesy of Pepin Distributing, and cocktails courtesy of St. Petersburg Distillery, will also be available for cash purchase.
The Stubb’s Fan Zone will be one of many highlights during this family-friendly event, featuring activations from several area organizations, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Storm, Valspar Championship, USF Athletics, Camp Gladiator, The Polar Pod Cooling Station, Jam Jar Wines Sampling and Sprouts Farmers Market (South Tampa, FL).
Also, for the second year in a row, event officials and Tampa Bay Club Sport are proud to announce a 16-team cornhole tournament to be played at the festival. Teams will be able to register on-site.
Additionally, a power-packed music lineup will entertain guests throughout the event beginning at 3 p.m. with the Randy McNeeley Band. Southern Rumble will hit the stage at 5 p.m., The Bearded Brothers Band at 7 p.m. and Soul Circus Cowboys will bookend the event beginning at 9 p.m.
The activities don’t stop there as guests are encouraged to bring their chair and or blanket and settle in for an action-packed day of college football watching. Georgia at Tennessee and Florida State at Wake Forest kickoff at 3:30 p.m., while Clemson at Virginia Tech (7:30 p.m.) and Ole Miss at Alabama (9 p.m.) will close out the night.
Tampa Bay’s Tailgate Taste Fest's family-friendly, dog-friendly and lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. (No coolers, tents or outside food and drink). The event is cash only (ATMs will be on site) and food sample/VIP wristband prices go up at 2 p.m. on the day of the event so pre-purchase yours today.
